fed babies how often do they eat?

i am feeding my daughter is 2 1/2 months old, some days she will want to nurse every hour for a half hour and some days she will go 2 hours between 30 min feedings does it get better or will she always need to nurse every 2 hours while i am feeding? thankfully she is sleeping through the night so i cant really complain it's just hard to plan outings with her and my 4 year old
