Military PCS question?

Hi all, we just found out last week that we are PCSing from VA to Bragg, to report in literally 3wks. Then a couple wks after that my husband will redeploy. So..instead of going to NC, I'm taking our son and moving home to GA. Does anyone know how they will do this? Because I know that they will only pay for as far as Bragg and we're going to Savannah. Do we need to set up our own movers and get reimbursed for the cost from VA to as far as Bragg and then we pay the difference? Everything is super short notice and no one is giving us a straight answer. Wondering if anyone out there can help.
