Does my fiance still love me?

We have been together for 3 yrs, about a year ago I left him and moved out of state, a day after I left he flew to where I was and proposed to me. Since I have been back he started a new company so we have had some serious financial problems and it has put a big strain on our relationship. But lately he has been snappy and has no drive. I love him but I find myself constantly wondering if he still plans to spend his life with me or did he just propose to get what he wanted (which was me back)...
