Why is Hinduism distorted in American universities?

how can be an university function in a country, where unlimited freedom, where no affection even between parents and their kith and kins, where there is no controls, where even they have no faith in their own religion. They grow in a culture of questioning their holy books, even they frequently raising this question ''is jesus a fiction or fact'', there are huge atheist people than the believers. Totally, they have no faith on their own and also on others. it is painful to see your description on our Lord Ganesa, and they have no chance to know our God and they see only the picture and describes and what is our friends doing there. why proper guidance or explanation not given. please take initiate and make them to understand, since they live mostly in uncivilized manner in a civilized country.
