Driving time/route from Anaheim/GG, California to Grauman's Chinese theatre on Friday morning?

We have to be in front of the theater before 9 am to catch a bus tour. We were going to drive in with the rental as taking public transport seems just as long 1.5 hours. Do we take the freeways? How much time should we leave to get there?
