My son was diagnosed with Reflux, but I'm questioning Colic too?

My son is 1 month old, just diagnosed with reflux, and was put on zantac, which we just started yesterday, so no improvement as of yet. I'm not sure if he has colic too, b/c he cries pretty much all day long (not continuously, but in spurts throughout the day, like every 10 minutes all day long). We've tried everything- feeding him, diaper change, holding him, swaddling, etc, etc. Sometimes the only thing to calm his down is to feed him, even if he just ate. I'm not sure if he's crying b/c of the reflux, or if he has colic too. But the other part of the issue is that he doesn't sleep good during the day at all. He'll take like 5 minute naps, wake up and cry, take another nap, and he'll keep going through this routine all day long. I thought newborns are supposed to sleep all day long? Is this worrisome? I just called the on-call nurse and I'm waiting for a call back. Also, he has a Dr. appointment on Monday. Any advice/opinions/suggestions are very much welcomed. Thanks!
